Delivrd alternatives: used cars too, for hundreds less

By Mason · Updated

Short answer: Delivrd charges a flat $1,000 per deal, paid up front, and when we rechecked on October 23, 2026 it was still only negotiating new cars. Steer Me Right does the same job for new, used and CPO cars: $395 for the Steer Me Right plan, $605 less than Delivrd, or $695 for Steer Me Right Pro, $305 less, which gets offers on up to three models and adds out-of-state dealers. CarEdge, Car Pal and Automatch Consulting also publish their prices.

Delivrd, spelled without an “e” and often searched as “Delivered,” is a car negotiation service at delivrdto.me. We run Steer Me Right, one of the alternatives below, so read this as a competitor’s comparison. Every fact about Delivrd and the other companies comes from their own websites, with the link next to the fact, and we checked them all on October 18, 2026.

What Delivrd offers

Delivrd’s service is Insta-Pay Deal Negotiation. Its service agreement describes it as a “Flat fee. One deal. No hidden costs, no percentage of the sale, no upsells.”

  • $1,000 per deal, paid up front, according to its Insta-Pay page. The fee doesn’t depend on whether you buy. In Delivrd’s words: “We put in the hours whether you buy the car or not.”
  • After a consult, Delivrd requests window stickers, pulls out-the-door pricing, compares finance terms and negotiates with several dealers at once. It gives you at least two options and helps you close. Trade-in help and a financing review are part of the service.
  • Founder Tomi Mikula works with a team that includes deal coordinators and negotiators, according to its team page, and Delivrd’s press page says it works with buyers in all 50 states.
  • On October 18, 2026, a notice before Delivrd’s checkout read: “PAUSE on USED: We’re only negotiating new cars.” The Insta-Pay page also warns of long waits for some models, such as 6 to 12 months for a Lexus GX550 allocation.
  • The Insta-Pay page says your deal starts within 7 to 10 business days of your consult. Other Delivrd pages say 10 to 15 business days.

Refunds and changes at Delivrd

Delivrd’s service agreement says you can get a refund “If we haven’t started working your deal yet,” and that “There are no refunds after work has started.” Work starts when its team begins contacting dealerships and pulling numbers. Changing the car costs extra: $250 for a different trim or features on the same car, and $500 for a different car entirely.

Steer Me Right’s terms work differently. Cancel before negotiations begin and you get a full refund. During negotiations, refund eligibility depends on the work already done. The full terms are in our refund policy.

Why people look for a Delivrd alternative

A used or CPO car

While Delivrd’s used-car pause lasts, a used-car buyer needs someone else. Steer Me Right searches new, used and CPO dealer inventory on both plans, at the same flat fee as a new car, and Steer Me Right Pro adds out-of-state dealers. Our used car buying service page walks through how a used-car search works.

The fee

Delivrd’s $1,000 is more than twice the $395 Steer Me Right plan. Steer Me Right Pro, with offers on up to three models, out-of-state dealers and help coordinating shipping, is $695.

Timing

Delivrd’s pages say your deal starts 7 to 15 business days after your consult. At Steer Me Right, Mason replies within one business day of payment to confirm the search and when it starts, and most searches take one to two weeks from payment to a signed deal. Rare specs and factory orders take longer, and we tell you that up front.

Room to change your mind

If you are still deciding between trims or models, Delivrd’s $250 and $500 change fees add up. Settle the car first, or ask any service how it handles a change before you pay.
